Through 24/7 media production and broadcast, we foster connection and community, cultivate joy and reflection, and empower possibility and justice.

We engage listeners and producers who seek resources and respite from the impacts of injustice. At the same time, we invite listeners who believe that they’re not touched by the criminal-legal system to understand and recognize the ways in which they are.

We serve as an amplifier and a public square for the stories, joy, struggles, and resilience of those impacted by the criminal-legal system

We support individuals: we offer employment and structure to formerly incarcerated adults and their immediate families, as well as young people who are navigating, or diverting from, detention.

We also work to end oppression: the voices and vision of each of the individuals on our airwaves are all critical to our effort to change the false, dehumanizing narratives of crime and punishment in the U.S., to realize policies and perspectives that are humane, and to amplify the work of our partner organizations as they create a more just world.
